About This Spot

Stepping into About A Cup feels like finding a little comforting nook tucked amid Coral Springs’ everyday rhythms. This is a place where the pace naturally slows, inviting you to settle in with a steaming cup of coffee and the quiet hum of friendly conversation or the occasional shuffle of a game of dominoes nearby. The air carries the gentle aroma of fresh pastries mingling with roasted Colombian beans, creating a subtle yet inviting welcome.

There’s a warmth here—both in ambiance and approach—that encourages lingering. Whether you arrive for a quick pick-me-up or a leisurely lunch date, you’ll notice how the space effortlessly blends simple touches of cozy charm with bright, casual energy. Sunlight spills softly through the windows, warming up sturdy wooden tables that invite you to unwrap a flaky croissant or savor a carefully crafted Nutella latte. The mood is neither rushed nor fussy; instead, it leans into the kind of thoughtful comfort that reveals itself in moments of shared smiles, quiet reading, or catching up with a good friend.

While the menu nods to traditional coffee shop favorites, the signature details make the difference here. The Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte and tiramisu-inspired drinks hint at a playful creativity beneath the classic staples like espresso and cortado. And those empanadas—always a popular choice—carry a homely, satisfying quality that pairs wonderfully with the mellow drive of the shop. Freshness and care shine through the flaky layers of pastries like the pistachio and chocolate croissants, a reminder that these bites aren’t just food but a small treat meant to be savored.

About A Cup gently holds a space where imperfect moments—perhaps a slight wait, or a pause in the flow—become part of its authentic character. It’s the kind of spot that reminds you how local coffee shops can be both a quiet refuge and a small stage for everyday human moments: conversations, laughter, and those little discoveries that make a neighborhood feel just a bit like home.

I simply loved the food. Everything was very tasty. The only thing I didn't like very much was the service. I ordered to eat there and went to sit down to wait for my order. A few minutes later, the waitress brought the order in a bag. So I spoke to the guy who had served me, and he asked if I wanted a plate (obviously yes), so I had to take everything out of the bag and put it on a plate. I imagine the reason this happened was that they had about half an hour left before closing, so I think they were in a hurry. But for the meal, it's definitely worth a visit.

I make it a point in every area I'm in to try the local coffee shop; I just moved to Coral Springs from an area that only had Dunkins and Starbucks' so to finally be able to have a selection of little coffee shops is wonderful. I wanted to leave a review however because it's been a long time since I've tasted a pastry made with love. Where you could actually taste the work that went into it, and the berry croissant was just that. The beautiful crisp flakiness and the filling itself were absolutely incredible. It tasted like your best friend or cherished aunt made it for you after a long day, and it was wonderful. In addition, the ambiance and the coffee (I got an iced flat white) was terrific and I love it Definitely stop by and definitely try the pastries

About A Cup is an awesome coffee shop! My mom and I had a lunch date there and enjoyed their food options , pastries and the Tiramasu latte. It was 10/10. We also played games (dominoes) and had a great time together. That Pistachio croissant is 20/10. We'll be going back for sure!

I went for the first time yesterday and it was such a delightful coffee shop! The chai was delicious, as was the tiramisu latte and the pistachio croissant. There is a bit of a delay between ordering and receiving your order, but it is well worth the wait. The atmosphere was cozy and warm. Great for a good talk with a friend, reading a book, or just a quick stop to grab a tasty morsel.

They used to have the absolute best croissants but lately they are just dry. I bought a bunch for some people at work and sadly every person said the same thing that the quality was not great. I wonder if you just hit it on a wrong day. The service was terrific, the counter person was very nice, the ambiance is adorable. Everything else is beautiful but I wish the actual food itself was good. The coffee was delicious so definitely go for that, but get your actual breakfast somewhere else.

I found this hidden gem when my friend and I were looking for good study spots in coral springs. The atmosphere is very open and cozy here and there is plenty of seating available. The food options look so good honestly that I’m excited to come and try more of them! I’ve only been here once and I got the Smoked Salmon Croissant since I hadn’t eaten breakfast that day and it was so good and filling! I will be back to try more of the food and drinks haha. The staff and service is very good and the cafe is very clean. It wasn’t too busy thank goodness, but I can see Felicita’s Coffee Soul becoming one of my go to study spots around here. My only con is that the close too early (5pm)

I came in as a first time customer to have a cappuccino. I got that, a tiramisu croissant, and of course a chicken empanada. The food was delicious. The service was great and prompt. I will be back.

I tried the Caprese Avocado Toast at About a Cup and it was absolutely amazing. Perfectly toasted bread topped with creamy avocado, fresh pesto, melted mozzarella, juicy tomatoes, and a delicious balsamic glaze that ties everything together beautifully. Every bite was full of flavor and really high-quality ingredients. I paired it with a cappuccino, which was smooth, aromatic, and perfectly balanced. You can truly taste the care and technique in every cup. The atmosphere is cozy, the service is friendly, and everything feels thoughtfully prepared. If you’re looking for something fresh, tasty, and satisfying, About a Cup is the place. Highly recommend!
